By accessing or using PiccoLeap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

PiccoLeap is an AI-powered writing platform designed for higher education professionals. The Service provides:

• AI-assisted document drafting and editing
• Voice preservation and style matching
• Document management and collaboration tools
• Template libraries for common higher education communications

To use PiccoLeap, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

PiccoLeap uses artificial intelligence to assist with writing. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before use.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before publication or distribution.
• PiccoLeap makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
• AI outputs may occasionally contain errors, biases, or inappropriate content that requires human review.

PiccoLeap's voice preservation feature analyzes your writing to create a stylistic profile. You understand that:

• Voice profiles are created from writing samples you provide.
• You retain full ownership of your voice data and writing samples.
• Voice profiles are used exclusively to personalize AI-generated content for your account.
• You may delete your voice profile at any time through your account settings.

PiccoLeap offers the following plans:

• Free Tier: Limited access to core features at no cost.
• Paid Plans: Premium features available through monthly or annual subscriptions.

Billing terms:

• Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.
• Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice.

• Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the documents, text, and writing samples you create or upload to PiccoLeap.
• Our Platform: PiccoLeap and its underlying technology, including AI models, algorithms, interfaces, and branding, are owned by PiccoLeap and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you provide about the Service may be used by PiccoLeap without obligation to you.

By uploading content to PiccoLeap, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Process your content to provide the Service (AI analysis, voice matching, document generation).
• Store your content securely on our infrastructure.
• Create derivative data (voice profiles, style analytics) solely for your use.

This license is limited to service delivery and terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

You agree not to use PiccoLeap to:

• Create, store, or distribute illegal content.
• Abuse AI features by attempting to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Impersonate any person or institution.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or platform technology.
• Overload or disrupt the Service through automated or excessive requests.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your use of PiccoLeap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

PICCOLEAP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEE OF ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS.

YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PICCOLEAP, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PICCOLEAP'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO PICCOLEAP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PiccoLeap and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any rights of a third party.
• Content you create, upload, or distribute through the Service.

• By You: You may close your account at any time through your account settings.
• By PiccoLeap: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice when practicable.
• Data Export: Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your documents and data before permanent deletion.
• Survival: Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PiccoLeap.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
